Who we're looking for:

Our Palm Beach studio is currently looking for a well-rounded Interior Designer with high end Residential and Hospitality design experience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a passion for design, and willingness to wear multiple hats to help us with a wide range of projects. As we are currently a very small team it is essential to be able to adapt and potentially help with tasks not spelled out below. MS Suite and CAD knowledge is required, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp would be beneficial but are not mandatory. 

Key responsibilities:

We aim to provide a personalized retail experience, treating customers like guests entering our home for the first time. We make our customers feel comfortable by giving them the space to browse our collections and providing recommendations should they have questions. SB team members are familiar with all products offered in-store and online to be able to best serve the customer and most importantly, team members display enthusiasm for the brand, an eagerness to learn and a passion for fashion and design.

What you'll do:

– Collaborate with the Design Director and the Director of Projects in taking luxury hospitality, commercial and high-end residential projects from concept to completion.

– Produce on-brand design presentations and communicate design concepts, space planning and product selections.

– Attend project meetings and site visits and help coordinate meeting notes and site photographs.

– Source new materials and products for projects as well as products for the Sarah Baeumler website as needed.

– Interface with vendors and subcontractors as necessary to coordinate production and project completion.

– Assist in preparation of Materials Reference, Hardware, Sanitaryware, and Furniture Schedules and Specifications.

– Assist in basic CAD documentation (plans for Room Refreshes) and basic 3D models as needed. Coordinate with outsource CAD to produce drawing packages and oversee the documentation process. Ensure all drawings meet the CAD standards.

– Until a Junior Designer is hired, own all phases of the Room Refreshes from client follow up, initial meeting through delivery of presentation package and Buying Guide.

– When required, order all loose furniture, decorative lighting, art & accessories for a project and coordinate the delivery and installation. Assist in styling and site photography as needed.

– Help with press releases, award entries and business development materials.

– Maintain a strong interest in the luxury and design industry. Attend industry events to help increase the visibility of the Refined Living by Sarah Baeumler within the design community.
